Share your original poems, perform a favorite author’s piece, or simply enjoy a night of creativity and community around the art form of writing. Performances of all kinds are welcome and encouraged!
Join us for an evening of celebrating creativity in our community. Whether you choose to take the stage, share your own work, or even just to listen, you will leave inspired by the written word.
The theme of the evening this time is “Just This Moment”. Performers are encouraged to share work around topics of unique moments in life. Adherence to the theme is not required and is only meant to be a helpful tool to guide performers if needed.
Early registration is available for those planning to perform, and any remaining spots will be available for open mic sign ups at the door. Performances are limited to five minutes maximum, and no more than three poems (or three pages of prose), regardless of length. Original work is encouraged, but performances of published work are acceptable with full credits and rights given to the original author.
Doors open at 5:30 PM for a welcome period, open mic sign ups, and meet-and-greet.
