Writing a book is hard work. Marketing a book is even harder. For local authors without the big budgets of the “best sellers” you see in stores, selling books often means getting face-to-face with potential readers and putting a book directly in their hands.
We are beyond excited to help in that mission as we host our second annual Local Author Round Up, where we give published authors in our area the chance to put their book in your hands! We are gathering authors of all backgrounds, from all genres, and all types of publishing to join us for this special event in spring.
Each author will have their own space to display their work, where you can stop by and chat. They’ll tell you about their book, and about the story behind the writing of it, and you can purchase a signed copy directly from them. Each author will also have dedicated time to take the stage, read from their work, then answer your questions. Later in the day, each author will have the chance to participate in a panel discussion about what it takes to accomplish the dream that many of us have: putting pen to paper and writing something worth reading.
