Join us on Friday, May 2, 2025, in Council Chambers at City Hall for Mayor James R. Knight Jr.’s Annual Budget Address.
Starting at 9:00 a.m., Mayor Knight will present the proposed budget for the upcoming fiscal year, sharing how it will impact our community and strengthen our commitment to the Growing Home initiative.

Investments in Public Safety Support for Economic Development Efforts to improve City Cleanliness Continued Staff Support and DevelopmentFollowing the address, the proposed budget will be formally submitted to Hopkinsville City Council for review, discussion, and final approval in the coming weeks.
The event is open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend and engage in the city’s planning and progress. For those unable to attend in person, the address will be livestreamed on the City’s YouTube channel at @cityofhopkinsvilleky.
