Take Kids Fishing Day

Saturday, May 27th is a fun day for kids but I think the parents have just as much fun and the kids. Bring your fishing pole if you have one or use one of ours. Integrating Segregated Histories

Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County and the Kentucky Historical Society invite residents and former residents of Hopkinsville-Christian County to come and share 19th or 20th century documents and photos that relate to the county’s rich African American history or Hopkinsville’s once-thriving Jewish community. Hopkinsville is officially the greatest place on earth to view the Eclipse!

It’s official! The Kentucky legislature has released an official resolution recognizing Hopkinsville Christian County as the point of Greatest Eclipse and the best place on Earth to view the 2017 North American Solar Eclipse.  The August 21st event will be the first total solar eclipse visible in the contiguous US in 37 years.
