Thin Blue Run: Honoring Their Stories, Protecting Their Tomorrows

Join the Hopkinsville Police Department for the Thin Blue Run, a county-wide awareness run in support of Child Abuse Prevention Month benefiting Sanctuary, Inc. and the Pennyrile Children’s Advocacy Center.
On Saturday, April 18, the Hopkinsville Police Chief and fellow officers will run the full length of Christian County, raising awareness and funds for organizations that serve and protect children in our community.
🕖 Start Time: 7 a.m.
📍 Route: From one end of Christian County to the other
🏁 Final destination: To be announced
Downtown Hopkinsville Stop
As officers pass through downtown, they will pause at Founders Square, where the community is invited to gather, cheer them on, and show support. Food trucks and family-friendly festivities will be taking place at Founders Square during this stop.
Community members will also be invited to participate in a brief walk from the Hopkinsville Police Department to Founders Square as officers pass through downtown.

Opportunities to pre-order official Thin Blue Run t-shirts and sponsor the event will be available soon. Details on how to participate, including order deadlines and sponsorship levels, will be shared in the coming weeks.
💙 All proceeds from t-shirt sales and sponsorships will go directly to Sanctuary, Inc. and the Pennyrile Children’s Advocacy Center.
