BIG NEWS FOR SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK! 
We are thrilled to announce that the Pennyroyal Arts Council has received a Touring Grant from the Kentucky Arts Council. We will use the $5,000 to help us beef up our annual Shakespeare in the Park event!
We are so grateful for the Kentucky Arts Council’s support through this touring grant, which allows us to enhance this free community tradition, bring visitors together, and continue expanding accessible, high-quality performing arts programming right here in Hopkinsville.

Date: Monday, September 28th
Location: Greenway Amphitheater (located behind the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library)
Schedule:5:00 PM — Food trucks and local vendors open!
6:00 PM — Live performance of Shakespeare’s classic comedy, Much Ado About Nothing, brought to life by the brilliant touring actors of Kentucky Shakespeare!
We are also excited to partner with our friends at the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library to make the event even better than in past years, with the hope of expanding it even further in the future.
Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, family, and friends for a wonderful evening of food, community, and live theatre under the stars!
