It’s time to celebrate the Christmas Season with your favorite Newcomers & Neighbors! Join us for our annual Christmas Luncheon on Wednesday, December 10, 11:00 am – 12:30 pm, at First Baptist Church, 1400 S. Main Street. Parking will be available at 14th and Main.
Lunch will be potluck, with the main entrée provided by Newcomers & Neighbors. If your birthday is Jan-June, please bring an appetizer or side dish to share. If your birthday is July-December, please bring a dessert to share. RSVP by Thursday, December 4, to HoptownNewcomers@gmail.com.
*We will be collecting donations of hats, gloves and scarves for children and adults, to be shared within our community by Impact Ministries, a non-profit community organization dedicated to providing support and resources to individuals in need.
**Christian County Festival of Trees is a great opportunity for us to be involved in our community, as well. We will be decorating a Newcomers & Neighbors tree immediately following the luncheon. Please consider bringing donation(s) of rustic, woodland ornaments to the luncheon, and let Kelly S. know if you’d like to volunteer for the event. The Festival of Trees supports the Pennyroyal Center, which supports mental wellness and life challenges.
