Infant Feeding, Tongue Ties & Early Development: A Parent Education Class
Breastfeeding is natural—but that doesn’t mean it’s always easy. And feeding is only one part of your baby’s early development.
Join us for a supportive, educational class designed for expecting parents and families with infants who want to better understand feeding challenges, tongue ties, normal infant development, and how gentle support can help babies thrive.
In this one-hour class, you’ll learn:
• What’s normal vs. common in early breastfeeding and infant behavior
• Signs of tongue, lip, and oral restrictions you may not know to look for
• How birth and early tension can influence feeding, digestion, sleep, and movement
• What typical infant development looks like in the first months (head turning, tummy time, feeding coordination, regulation)
• Simple, realistic ways parents can support healthy development at home
• When lactation support can help—and what that support actually looks like
• How gentle bodywork (craniosacral therapy) supports the nervous system, feeding, and overall development
• Why a collaborative approach before and after a frenectomy can make a meaningful difference

This class is educational, pressure-free, and parent-centered. Whether you’re preparing for your baby, navigating feeding challenges, or simply want to better understand what your infant is communicating, this class will leave you feeling informed and empowered.
• An IBCLC & frenectomy provider: Jacqueline Cropper, MS, APRN, FNP-BC, IBCLC, RLC, PMH-C
• An occupational therapist specializing in infant craniosacral therapy: Melissa Bouldin OTR/L
There will be time for questions, discussion, and take-home resources to help you support your baby’s feeding and development with confidence.
Because supporting your baby’s development doesn’t require doing more—it starts with understanding what’s normal and knowing when gentle support can help.
