This evening celebrates the timeless art of the jazz crooner through the voice and piano of Danny Sinhoff, a dynamic performer deeply rooted in the Great American Songbook. Inspired early on by artists such as Bobby Darin, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Harry Connick Jr., Sinhoff has spent more than two decades developing his own swinging and deeply personal approach to this great American tradition. His new album, Make Someone Happy, brings that journey full circle with fresh interpretations of classics including “Taking a Chance on Love,” “I Left My Heart in San Francisco,” “I Won’t Dance,” “Mood Indigo,” and the title song, “Make Someone Happy.” Blending selections from the new recording with music made famous by some of jazz and popular music’s most iconic crooners, Make Someone Happy is an evening of swing, romance, storytelling and timeless songs, delivered by a pianist and vocalist carrying the tradition forward with a voice all his own. Danny will be joined by vibraphonist Christian Tamburr and his Trio.
