This is a novel centered around an important part of our local LBL history. Ms. Waldrop will be joining us in person to facilitate discussion and take questions! Here is a little about her.
Jayne Moore Waldrop is the author of Drowned Town, an INDIES Book of the Year Award silver winner in fiction and Great Group Reads selection by the Women’s National Book Association; She Remembered It All: The Art of Memory Painter Helen LaFrance, winner of a 2025 Gold Book Award by the Independent Book Publishers Association; A Journey in Color: The Art of Ellis Wilson; Retracing My Steps, a finalist in the New Women’s Voices Chapbook Contest; Pandemic Lent: A Season in Poems, and the forthcoming Back to Our Nests (2026). She lives in Trigg County.
