Youth Growing Competition

WANTED: NEXT GENERATION GREEN THUMBS!
We are so excited for this year’s annual Youth Growing Competition at The Bloomery! ✨
️ Event Date: May 24 at 10:30am
There are two divisions:
Kindergarten – 5th Grade
6th – 12th Grade
Each division will be awarded a first and second place cash prize:
1st Place – $100
2nd Place – $50
You may drop off your entries on the following dates at The Bloomery:
May 22 & 23 during regular business hours
May 24 from 9:00 – 10:00am
Here’s what our judges are considering:
Planter design
Plant health & nutrition
Observation skills (no pests or disease)
Planter meets qualifications
Plant care log
Creativity — be bold, be fun, be YOU!
