March’s Saturday Sleuths program is entitled, “The Curious Case of Mr. Cayce.” Edgar Cayce was born in Christian County on March 18, 1877. During his life, he became known as the “Sleeping Prophet” due to his ability to answer questions from people while in a sleep-like trance. In celebration of his birth, this month’s mystery will give students a chance to learn about Mr. Cayce and some of his gifts while also investigating what others thought and wrote about him.
Designed for children ages 6-12, Saturday Sleuths will invite students to become detectives and help solve a history mystery at the museum on the last Saturday of every month. The program will be held at the Pennyroyal Area Museum. The cost of the program is $3, but Museum Members will be given free admission.
