bell hooks Book Club: All About Love

The next gathering of the bell hooks Book Club, an informal group who comes together in conversation of Hopkinsville native bell hooks and her extensive work, will be held on Monday, April 21 at 6pm at the Pennyroyal Area Museum.
The group is starting a discussion of bell hooks’s 2000 book All About Love: New Visions. Writer, cultural critic, feminist icon, and Hopkinsville native bell hooks explores what causes a polarized society and how to heal divisions. This New York Times bestselling book offers the truth about love in an expansive context and gives inspiration to help us instill caring, compassion, and strength in all our interactions.
The group will discuss the Introduction. Discussions of following chapters will be held on the third Monday of each month.
Copies of All About Love are available in The Vault by Planters Bank Museum Shop, online through our Shopify store, to check out from the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library, or from Amazon or your favorite bookseller.
