The 18th Annual Hopkinsville Soap Box Derby will be on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Ruff Park, 729 North Drive. The event will be open to all children ages 7 to 20. The registration deadline is April 14, 2024, and the cost is $50.

The day will be fun for the whole family, featuring a double-elimination race to see who will take home this year’s champion trophy. This means that each driver will be racing down the hill at least four times before being done for the day unless there is a disqualification.

The race will get started with driver check-in at 7:30 am, a group picture at 8:00 am, and the first gate drop at 8:30 am.
