The Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian Co. presents the Tobacco War Pilgrimage from Friday, Sept. 27 through Saturday, Sept. 28. This three day event in Hopkinsville, KY will portray historical events that commemorate this turbulent time in the agricultural and social history of western Kentucky and Tennessee. 

The weekend begins on Friday with an Old Time Street Fair in Historic Downtown Hopkinsville. At 7pm and 9pm there will be annual Night Rider Reenactment, a hayride tour retracing the fiery raid on Hopkinsville in 1907.

On Saturday, there will be reenactments of the Trial of the Night Riders, which will also feature a Kentucky Chautauqua.

Other events in the weekend include a Special Exhibit at the Pennyroyal Area Museum and showings of the documentary, On Bended Knee, and a Bus Tour of historic sites of the Tobacco War.
